Vaccines are free to everyone, and providers may not charge out-of-pocket costs to someone getting a vaccine. However, vaccination providers may be able to charge an office visit fee (only if other services were provided) and will be able to charge an administration fee for giving the vaccine – but can seek reimbursement through the vaccine recipient’s insurance company, Medicare, Medicaid or the US Health and Rural Services Administration.
