Recognizing the importance of testing within minority populations, vaccine developers worked with community engagement partners to enroll a diverse pool of volunteers in the clinical trials. Thirty-seven percent of volunteers from one manufacturer’s clinical trials alone were from racial and ethnic minority groups.
