The product is made in an FDA certified clean room and is traceable. The pricing per shield is tiered depending on volume but starts at $5.96 per kit and goes down from there. The Crown Protection Face Shield is available for use by health care personnel (HCP) as personal protective equipment (PPE), as authorized under the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on April 9, 2020, when they are intended for use by HCP as PPE in healthcare settings in accordance with CDC recommendations to cover the front and sides of the face and provide barrier protection. The Crown Protection Face Shield has not been FDA cleared or approved. The Crown Protection Face Shield has been authorized by FDA under an EUA for use by healthcare providers as personal protective equipment.
