Delaware Schools on Pause
On December 3, Governor Carney recommended schools that Delaware schools pause in-person learning beginning December 14, transition to virtual learning through January 8, and return to hybrid learning on January 11. This will allow schools to plan operationally for the second half of the 2020-2021 school year.
Pausing in-person learning is a local decision. Some school districts and charter schools may choose to stay open. The State of Delaware will support them in doing so.
